Project Overview
This project was created as part of a school project in the second year of my training. In collaboration with Aline Maltry, Rayan Leuenberger and Robert Schori, I developed a concept for a garden configuration app and implemented it as a Hi-Fi design. The goal was to design an app interface that is intuitive and easy to use and allows the user to design their own garden.
Goals
The goal of the project is to create a garden configurator that takes users' wishes and the parameters of the garden into account. As a result, individual garden suggestions are to be generated and displayed, including prices.
Process
We started with a competitor analysis. To do this, we took a close look at other garden centers and configuration sites and analyzed them. At the same time, we conducted a target group survey and specifically interviewed people with their own gardens. The SWOT analysis helped us to gather insights into our idea and the mindset segmentation to divide up the target group. During the design phase, I also worked individually on sketches and wireframes.

Review
A particular challenge of the project was to make the various configuration steps simple so that users could use the product intuitively. During implementation, I paid specific attention to using intuitive and familiar UI elements and focused on the tablet user group.

Final result
The result is a garden configuration app on the tablet that allows the user to define the garden and environmental conditions and then enter their own garden.
