Project Overview
This project was created as part of a school project in the 3rd year of my apprenticeship. I developed a computer game in collaboration with Aline Maltry and deepened my skills in game design. We developed a concept and implemented the game on Blender in a simple way. The goal of the game is for Dorie to collect her ingredients for dinner before the sun goes down and she can no longer find her way home.
Goals
The goal of the assignment is to create an interactive means of communication (computer game) with the necessary phases. These phases range from the idea phase and planning to the creation and texturing of the assets, level design and game logic.
Process
We first defined the idea and then used card sorting to determine different parts of the game and Dorie's world. We then developed a game core and integrated it into the core loop. Part of the task was also to integrate features into the game and achieve a goal. In order to not only think about the game, but also about the visual appearance, we created various mood boards, defined design principles and made sketches.

Review
The biggest challenge was to put yourself mentally in this game. We realized early on that we wouldn't be able to implement the game as we had planned due to a lack of specialist knowledge. However, we didn't set ourselves any limits because of this. We were able to implement a good and consistent story that is also visually close to the movie «Finding Dory» and used functions that were well thought out.

Final result
The final result is an elaborated concept of a computer game and three self-modeled 3D models, which were used in a Unity world and can be collected by the player.
